World’s Finest Chocolate Sales

Hi All,

We will be starting our second round of selling Worlds Finest Chocolate Bars. Students can check out a box of chocolate to sell from Mrs. Harris or Mr. Watson any time. Once a student checks out a box they are financially responsible for the entire box, $60. Turning a partially sold box is not acceptable. Profit is $30 for every box sold.

We will have Top Seller prizes
1st place: $200 cash
2nd place: $150 cash
3rd place: $100 cash
In addition to our top seller prizes we will also be having a drawing. For every two boxes you sell you name is entered once into the drawing, i.e. if you sold 8 boxes your name would be in the drawing 4 times.
Drawing prizes:
-6 winners of $25 cash
1 winner of a Chrome Book
Selling will last until we have no more boxes to sell, we have approximately 150 boxes left to sell.

Music in the Parks Festival – Symphonic Band – Saturday April 7th

Great America Festival Trip Itinerary and Information

 

 

Great America Festival – Milpitas HS/Great America

Date: Saturday, April 7, 2018

Dress: Students need to come in the morning dressed in their concert black attire. We will arrive at Milpitas High School and immediately get off the bus and go into performance warm up. There will be no place or time for students to change beforehand. Bring a change of close for after the performance. We will use the bus as a changing room.

Location: Festival – Milpitas High School, Awards – Great America theme park

Food: Some breakfast food, snacks, and waters may be provided but all other meals need to be provided by each individual student. Unfortunately no food or drink is allowed to be brought into Great America, however students may pack snacks to eat on the bus. Students should plan on purchasing at least one meal inside the park.

Times:   5:45am – Meet at Clark Intermediate

6:00am – Depart Clark Intermediate School for Milpitas HS

8:00am – Stop in Casa De Fruta for bathroom (if needed)

8:30am – Back on the buses continue to Milpitas HS

10:00am – Arrive at Milpitas HS (Check In)

10:55am – Warm Up

11:20am – Performance Time

12:00pm – Depart Milpitas HS for Great America

12:30pm – Arrive at Great America (Break into chaperone groups and enter the park)

5:15pm – Everyone must meet outside the Redwood Amphitheater

5:30pm – Awards Ceremony

7:30pm – Meet at the front gates of the park by the Carousel

8:00pm – Depart Great America

11:00pm – Arrive back to Clark Intermediate School

11:44 a.m.         – LUNCH (Please eat a good lunch!!!) Load Percussion Equipment onto the truck.

1:25 p.m.            – At the end of 6th period, Report to Band Room. Gather equipment

  • Load 1 School bus then depart for Clovis North High School.

2:00 p.m.            – Arrive at CNHS and warm up.

4:00 p.m.            – Show Begins

5:09 p.m.            – CLARK WINTER PERCUSSION PERFORMS (Parents, please arrive @ least 15 mins. Prior

to performance if you want to get in on time to watch percussion perform)

6:03 p.m.           – Jr. High Championship Awards (Full Retreat-Entire Team MUST be present and in

                              uniform for awards)

6:30 p.m.            -Load Trucks

CUSD Festival – Clovis North High School – All Bands

Date: Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Dress: Concert Black – Boys: Black dress shoes, black socks, black tuxedo pants, white tuxedo shirt, black cummerbund, and bow tie. Girls: Formal attire is concert black (all black). Dresses, pants, and skirts are all permitted, however, dresses and skirts must be at mid-calf level while sitting and down to the ankle while standing.  Sleeves on tops must be at least ¾ length or longer.  Black tights or nylons are required for skirts and dresses. Please no glittery decorations, we do not want to take away from the music itself.  Nice jewelry is fine, but please be careful with hair accessories, sometimes they may overpower the ensemble.

Location: Clovis North High School

Times:   Concert Band Please pack a sack lunch to eat when we get back from festival

8:15am – Meet in the Band Room, dressed ready to go

8:30am – Depart Clark for CNHS

9:00am – Arrive at CN High School and check in

10:40am – Warm Up

11:10am – Performance time

12:45pm – Bus departs CN HS to return to Clark

1:15pm – Arrive back at Clark, eat lunch and return to class

11:30am – Released from 4th period, Eat and get dressed in the band room

12:30pm – Arrive at CN High School and check in

Times:  5:00pm – Meet in the Band Room, dressed ready to go Sound Check and Warm Up

              6:00pm – Depart Clark

              6:30pm – Arrive @ CNHS

              7:00pm – Doors Open

              7:15pm – Concert Begins, each group will perform and then receive a clinic from our guest adjudicator

                                           -Concert Band (30 Minutes)

                                           -Symphonic Band (30 Minutes)

              8:15pm – Concert Ends

8:45pm – 1 Bus departs CNHS for those that need a ride back to Clark

 

9:00pm – Arrive back to Clark
